Demo 3000 sf of carpeting, then add custom 4" hardwood hickory with walnut accents and borders. Herringbone pattern in master bedroom, custom square pattern in another, reverse square in another, a star burst pattern in yet another. The master closet done in a maple hardwood and clear coated to contrast the black cabinets. Then refinish entire 1700 sf lower level American Cherry hardwood sand, stain, and then 3 coats polyurethane to make new and old match with a glass like finish. Each room got a little different custome pattern.
