This project involved demoing the entire shower down to plywood to fix a floor leak. We then installed a Schluter shower pan, niche and system for waterproofing. The plumbing had to be changed out to accommodate a new shower valve, rain head and hand sprayer. and drain. The homeowner purchased the floor and wall tile along with the shower fixtures. We cut out the wall to open up the dark area to later install a custom glass wall. We also enlarged the door opening so the homeowners parents shower accessibility was easier to get into. Finally we added white quartz around the door opening and under the glass wall, and around the niche. The result was stunning, the glass wall really lighted up the dark shower and opened it up, and the new shower fixtures along with the niche made it more modern along with fixing the leak.
